About Crown of Beauty Meditation Practice
Crown of Beauty Meditation Practice draws its inspiration from the transformative journey of its founder, rooted in the profound wisdom of Isaiah 61:3. This scripture took on new meaning during a time of personal struggles, when faced with the daunting diagnosis of Stage 3 Cancer. Enduring the rigors of chemotherapy and radiotherapy, the physical toll was evident as Melanie lost her beautiful hair.

Yet, in the midst of her baldness emerged a remarkable inner strength, freedom, and beauty a journey of acceptance and healing that led to the realisation of her own crown of beauty rising from the ashes of adversity.
Further fuelled by professional challenges and the weight of secondary and racial trauma, Melanie sought solace and renewal. Through practices of meditation, forgiveness, self-compassion, and acceptance, she embarked on personal metamorphosis, akin to a cocoon stage preceding the emergence of newfound wings of beauty. The impact of this journey became clear as Melanie started receiving national recognition, in the Social Worker Of The Year Awards a true testament to the remarkable crown of strength and beauty rising from her challenges.
